BC FLOATPLANE ASSOCIATION 2025 AGM
Hello all BCFA members. Your BCFA AGM is coming up Saturday July 19th at Pitt Meadows Airport. It is going to be held at the Aero Club of BC followed by a BBQ at Eagles Nest hangars by the float dock.
Come by float plane, wheel plane, car or bicycle but please come and enjoy some hospitality and have a say in your association. For those of you who can’t attend in person but would like to attend virtually, Zoom info can be found below.
We have airport permission to camp on the grass at Eagles Nest hangars for the weekend. Washroom facilities will be available. Please let us know if you are going to camp - contact John @ president@bcfloatplaneassociation.com

09:00 Aero Club of BC - Coffee and muffins – Meet and greet
09:30 – 10:45 AGM
11:00 – 11:45 Search and Rescue – Locating lost pilots and others using cell phones where no service exists. Fred Carey (Deputy Director of Casara) will explain Artemis – how it works and relate recent searches
12:00 – 1:30 We are waiting on confirmation of other speakers
2:00 - BBQ at Hangar 8 Eagles Nest Hangars – Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pop etc provided by your BC Floatplane Association
